One of the most frequent and legitimate questions asked by modellers is: «How will he model be packed to reach us safely?». Well, here’s the answer to your question.
The solid mahogany case
This is the real packaging of the model. The picture doesn’t show them, but there are adequate paddings to stabilise the model inside the case. The model is also anchored to the base using 4 screws. A special microfiber fabric is placed between the model and the sponge paddings.
In the space between the bottom, of the case and the base of the model, you will find the manual that also shows the terms of the warranty, as well as a USB cable. The latter will be used to charge a USB memory, if you would like to do so. The ownership certificate will be sent separately.
The OBS case
The models weighs 25.5 kg and will be inserted inside the mahogany case, so we have decided to eliminate any cardboard packaging. We have made a case in OBS and have envisaged 10 cm of sponge padding on either side.
Security is obligatory for this kind of product.
The final packaging measures 140 x 43 x 48 cm.
