Proto Models has always differentiated the cost of its models on the basis of the rules on the application of Value Added Tax – VAT – so that non-EU customers, for example, are exempted from payment of this tax.
Now our E-commerce system too allows you to shop on-line, taking advantage of this benefit. In exchange for this considerable effort that we have made, we have to apply just 2 hard and fast rules in the case of error:

1. If you buy one or more products at the gross price – inclusive of VAT – when you could have bought them at the net price – Tax Free – the difference will not be returned to you. Instead, you will receive a money-off voucher for the value of the difference between the two prices, net of the commission applied by PayPal. You can use this voucher for your next off-line purchase.
2. If, however, your make your purchase Tax Free when it is not possible to apply this price, the order will be sent out only after you have paid the difference between the two costs.

If in doubt, it is always better to contact us, to prevent mistakes which could delay your purchase and/or generate costs.

Please remember that out preferred payment method is by bank transfer, following issue of a prof forma invoice which will be sent to you complete with our bank details.

Now, let’s see who is entitled to the Tax Free price.

Beneficiary of the Tax Free price.

This price is reserved for:

1. All non-resident customers in countries within the European Union, so those resident outside the EU.
2. All customers who despite being members of the European Union, purchase in the own name or that of a company acknowledged as being “exempted from VAT”.», insofar as in possession of a VAT number valid within the EU, or a registered member of the special VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) list.

Models without guaranteed availability

If our system has led you to read this notice, it is because the E-commerce sale of the article required has been blocked.
This could be due to one or more of the following reasons:

1. The limited availability of the product could prevent us from sending out the order.
2. The extremely limited edition of this exclusive product means that we cannot include it among our E-commerce products that “can be purchased with a click”. We invite you to let us know if you would like to purchase it by writing to email. We will answer with a pro forma invoice containing the payment details.
3. We think that the product is of high value because it can be purchased using Credit Card/PayPal.
